The 36th summit of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation members took place, this time in Vilnius, Lithuania. President Andrzej Duda and his wife were among the attendees. Both Lithuanian and world media widely commented not only on the course of the summit, but also on the creations of the attendees. How did the First Lady of the Republic of Poland look among the other participants?

Participants at the 36th consecutive NATO summit were welcomed by this year’s hosts – Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and his spouses. One of the highlights of the two-day summit was the working dinner, which was attended by US President Joe Biden, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Turkish President Recep Erdogan and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, among others.

On the red carpet, the creations were highly varied, both in terms of style and colour. Agata Kornhauser-Duda, for the occasion, chose a red formal dress with a classic cut, which emphasised her beautiful, statuesque figure with taste. The styling was certainly a surprise for Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of Italy, who appeared in a knitted grey ensemble with casual trousers. Jens Stoltenberg’s wife opted for a loose-fitting short dress with a fancy pattern. More formal outfits were chosen by, among others, Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas in a classic formal dress in pink and French President Brigitte Macron in a minimalist white short cocktail dress with a stand-up collar.

Both the outfit of the First Lady of the Republic of Poland and the other participants in the NATO summit in Vilnius received a great deal of media attention, especially in the Lithuanian media. One of the portals asked renowned stylist, publicist and fashion expert Marija Palaikyte to comment. Present in the fashion world for more than a decade, Palaikyte did not hide her admiration for our First Lady and her chosen outfit. The stylist emphasised Agata Duda’s great sensitivity in choosing a creation appropriate to the rank of the ceremony. Like the Lithuanian media, she also praised the beautiful figure of Mrs Andrzej Duda, which was skilfully emphasised by the tailored cut of the dress, with the waist wonderfully displayed. Attention was also drawn to the colours of the creation designed for the First Lady of the Republic of Poland by Władysława Frączek of Atelier De Marco. The symbolic dimension of red – which is supposed to be a sign of courage, charisma and character – is emphasised.

The secret of the perfect styling of President Andrzej Duda, regardless of the rank of the event, is the clearly emphasised waist. She also skilfully exposes her figure with appropriate poses. At the gala, where she was honoured with the St. Brother Albert Medal for her social work on behalf of people with disabilities, she chose a modern red formal dress, with an asymmetrical cut in the fastening line – which additionally emphasised her shapely waist.
