On Friday, 1 April, President Andrzej Duda and his wife – arrived at the Vatican for an official audience with Pope Francis. For this special occasion, the First Lady – Agata Kornhauser-Duda – once again chose a creation from designer Władysława Frączek, from Salon De Marco.

The President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, was received by Pope Francis and his wife, in an official audience whose main topic was the war in Ukraine and the refugee crisis caused by Russian aggression. The visit began with a private conversation between the President and Pope Francis.During the official audience, First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda once again chose to wear the outfit prepared for her by the De Marco Fashion Salon, headed by fashion designer Władysława Frączek. After the solemn meeting with the Pope, the Presidential Couple went on a series of meetings, visiting among others the Paediatric Hospital of the Child Jesus in Rome (Bambino Gesu) and participating in a meeting with the daughter of the Italian President, Laura Matarella. The Presidential Couple also visited together the tomb of Pope John Paul II, where they laid flowers in the colours of the Polish and Ukrainian flags.
